Why should I become a member of The Mansfield District Racing Club? 
Membership is a great way to support your local club and community, and enjoy some fantastic race day benefits. Benefits include: 

  • Access the Members’ Reserve on Race Days (includes exclusive Members’ Bar and Powder Room/Toilet)
  • Complimentary Afternoon Tea in Members’ Clubroom
  • Option to purchase up to 4 Guest Tickets @$35 pp per meeting
  •  Option to reserve a table/seating on Members’ Lawn 
  • Complimentary access to Season Launch Members’ Soiree (August)

Does my membership application need to be ratified by the board to join as a new member? 
Yes, new members will have their application approved by the board at the next committee meeting. If your application is declined for any reason, you will receive a full refund. 

How can I pay for a membership?
Memberships can be purchased online with secure payment with a Visa or Mastercard. Please contact Membership Coordinator Lyn Wright for alternative payment methods.

Are there members’ only facilities that I have access to on race day? 
Yes, the Members’ Reserve overlooking the finishing post and mounting yard, provides an extensive lawn area, Members’ Clubroom, Members’ Bar and Powder Room/Toilet 

Can I bring children into the Members’ facilities? 
Children under the age of 18 are permitted to the Members’ family lawn area if accompanied by an adult member. Members are reminded that they are responsible for the behaviour and dress standard of their guests and children at all times. 
Children are not permitted in Members’ Clubroom.

Is there a dress code in the Members’ facilities? 
We kindly ask members to dress to a standard suitable for the Member’s facilities. Club Management retains the right, at its sole discretion to refuse any member or guest access to enter or use the members’ areas that are not attired in line with this policy or do not have the appropriate ticket or pass.

Male: Gentlemen are required to wear the following minimum standard of attire within the members’ facilities at all times unless advised otherwise: a collared shirt or collared polo top, pants, dress shorts and shoes or sandals
Female: Ladies are required to maintain a suitable standard of dress in keeping with the dignity of the members’ facilities.

Not Permitted: The following items of clothing or those similar in nature are not permitted to be worn within the Members’ facilities. T-shirts, tracksuits, torn clothing, clothing with graffiti, singlets, football jerseys, leggings, swimsuits, beanies, board shorts, thongs, runners, moccasins, dilapidated footwear and jackets without a collar.

Who can use a Guest Pass? 
Guest passes can be used by any non-member you would like to bring on race day, it does not need to be the same guest each time. 

What will I receive in my membership pack?
Members and Guest passes as per order

When will I receive my membership pack? 
Membership packs are normally sent 1-3 business days after purchase for confirmed members, please allow more time during the busy renewal period. What happens if my card is lost or stolen? 
Membership cards can be replaced by contacting the club (Please see Membership Coordinators contact details above. Service fee may apply). The old card will be cancelled and a new one will be issued. 

Is there a Members’ car park? 
An area to the south of main gate is allocated and signposted for Members’ Parking  

How long does a membership last? 
The membership season follows the racing season, which is 1 August – 31 July. We recommend renewing early in the season to maximise value from your membership. 

If I can’t attend a race day, can a friend or family member use my card? 
Yes, another person can use your membership pass if you cannot attend. Membership cards are scanned upon entry to the racecourse and can only be scanned in once.

Are there any reciprocal rights with other race clubs? 
Mansfield District Racing Club offers reciprocal rights to 3 Alexandra meetings
